🚨 READ THE GODDAMN OFFICIAL DOCUMENTATION. 🚨

AI is great for brainstorming, summarizing, and explaining concepts, but when it comes to finding the correct values for Helm charts, Terraform, Kubernetes, or any infra configs, it’s often WRONG.

I’ve made this mistake before, blindly trusting AI-generated values that “looked” right, only to waste hours debugging why my deployment was broken. Turns out, AI was referencing outdated or incorrect defaults that didn’t even exist in the latest version. I could have saved myself a headache by just reading the docs.

🔹 Lesson learned: AI is a tool, not a source of truth. Use it as a helper, but always verify with the official documentation.

🔹 If you’re copy-pasting values, double-check them. AI doesn’t know your environment, your Helm chart versions, or the exact Terraform provider configurations you’re using. Only the official docs do.

🔹 Build the habit of going to the docs first. Before asking AI, before Googling random Stack Overflow answers, just check the actual documentation.

This isn’t a criticism,it’s a note to future me and anyone else who’s been burned by trusting AI too much. Don’t let convenience get in the way of correctness.
